General Do you like "Fog of War," or should the whole map be visible?

I was just replaying Company of Heroes and honestly, fog of war must never disappear from RTS games. Without it, where’s the tension? Half the fun is being scared of what you can't see. One wrong movement and boom, the enemy tanks were already waiting. I remember one match where everybody shouted because hidden artillery suddenly wiped out the full squad.

Fog of war must stay forever. Without it, RTS games lose tension immediately. Half the excitement comes from moving carefully. I remember one Company of Heroes match where the hidden tanks appeared suddenly and wiped my whole squad. Everybody in the room shouted at once.
