General Is the "Attack-Move" command the most important button in RTS?

I was just teaching my cousin how to play StarCraft II and this boy was manually clicking the enemies one by one. Attack-move is basically the oxygen in RTS games. The funniest part is he kept blaming it on the keyboard. Once you learn attack-move properly, your whole army suddenly behaves like people with common sense.

For me, I think the attack-move is basically RTS survival instinct. Anybody manually clicking enemies one by one under pressure might develop an hypertension. My cousins did the same thing in Red Alert 3 and he said that the game was cheating him which is not so.
